My feeling about my collaboration with nature is in essence Zen: simple yet profound; functional yet beautiful. My approach is a deliberate, conscious endeavour to minimize altering the shape of the materials I work with. The slight alterations performed are for the express purpose of highlighting the utilitarian aspect of the entity: aesthetically pleasing and simultaneously functional.
